Screw conveyors

Hoppers

Hoppers consist of a supply container in a trough or funnel form, in which a conveyor system is integrated. The height of the bulk goods in the container is often restricted by a chicane at the outlet of the hopper. For vibratory hopper chutes, the entire container or container base vibrates, moving the goods into the transfer position according to the vibration conveyor principle, using continual micro-ejection movements.

For belt-driven hoppers, a horizontal conveyor band is laid in the hopper floor. For inclined belt hoppers, in order to increase capacity, the hopper is installed on a sloping conveyor belt, which can also have a band with cross-cuts.
Steep-gradient belt conveyors, also known as hopper elevators, convey parts to higher transfer levels.

Hoppers provide automated stockpiling and distribution of small bulk goods and enable increased system autonomy, e.g. for unmanned operations in three-shift operation. Hoppers are used as components when constructing feed solutions and are often used for product feeding, e.g. for vibratory bowl feeders. A wide range of design options enables virtually all types of small parts to be transported. Hopper systems can be found across many different industries.
